The Advanced Hardware Engineering team is looking for a network test automation engineer to join the Sensor Emulation and Test Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in networking concepts, automation tools, and scripting languages to automate test cases written against Ethernet requirements. This role collaborates across teams - working with Systems, Integration, Software, and Sensor engineers to deliver scalable network validation solutions that ensure the reliability and performance of our autonomous vehicle sensor networks.
Compensation
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $251,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with 4+ years of relevant industry experienceComprehensive understanding of networking protocols and architecture, including deep knowledge of OSI model layers, TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, ARP, and SNMP protocolsHands-on experience with network hardware configuration and automation across routers, switches, and firewallsAdvanced Python programming and Bash scripting skills with demonstrated experience developing automated testing frameworksProficiency with network analysis and diagnostic tools, including Wireshark, iPerf, traceroute, and tcpdumpStrong written and verbal communication skillsBonus Qualifications
