Octopus Energy has grown exponentially in its short history. It is now a complex multi-billion turnover international group, which participates in multiple industry verticals including retail utilities, utilities management, generation, EV leasing and software sales.
We are committed to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. As part of our growth strategy, we are implementing NetSuite to streamline our finance operations and improve efficiency. We are seeking a seasoned NetSuite Implementation Program Manager to spearhead this initiative.
Its legacy business management applications are at the limit of their capacity and capability. A new enterprise resource planning tool (ERP) is required to both provide a finance backbone for the group, and to integrate information flows and insights across the group. Oracle’s NetSuite SAAS platform has been selected for this task.
This role will be pivotal in delivery of NetSuite for the group, delivering Programme Management excellence to a complex programme of work. The role will be challenging given Octopus with multiple streams of deliverables will be in progress at any one time. The programme is expected to have a life cycle of between 12 and 18 months.
This role will be responsible for leading the end-to-end implementation of NetSuite ERP. The transformation programme is resourced by a combination of in-house resources and NetSuite implementation consultants.
This role will challenge Octopus to deliver this programme at pace, whilst managing risk, resourcing and dependencies. It will work in conjunction with NetSuite’s own project managers to turn the separate Octopus business and NetSuite consulting teams into one integrated delivery team.
You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments, ensuring that the implementation aligns with business objectives and delivers value. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in NetSuite implementation and a proven track record of successful project delivery.
This role will be central London based, and on site working will be expected c50% of the time. Travel to Octopus sites, including internationally, may occasionally be required.
