Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today, we are a team of more than 500 people, and our award-winning technology is being deployed across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients include some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies.

The spring 2024 edition of our Master’s Thesis Program is open to second-year Master’s students worldwide in all relevant disciplines. The program serves as a platform for students to gain insights into the industry, the day-to-day life at a scale-up, and can lead to a permanent position. In the program, each graduate is supervised by Einride’s team members that have experience in the thesis’ subject area. The thesis topics will be based on the students’ ideas, educational and professional background and Einride’s development needs. The program runs from January to June 2024.

Creating an autonomous vehicle encompasses many engineering disciplines as well as other areas. Einride works on many different development projects that all serve to create the best heavy electric and autonomous cargo vehicles possible, with viable business models to support them. Some likely topic areas within this domain are sensor technology, vehicle manufacturing, hardware and prototyping, electrification technologies, embedded systems, human-machine interface, machine learning and scaling the deployment of autonomous vehicles.
