Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. What You'll Do:
● Assist in analyzing product workflow, manpower forecasting, and manufacturing
performance.
● Support the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance
operational efficiency.
● Participate in capacity planning and forecasting for manufacturing loads.
● Assist in establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance, identify
trends, and mitigate risks.
● Collaborate with the Manufacturing Leadership team to develop detailed work plans.
● Contribute to the design and optimization of facility layouts, including the arrangement of
machines, equipment, and material storage to establish efficient workflows.
● Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing lean manufacturing principles
to identify opportunities for process optimization.
● Assist in the design and implementation of manufacturing aids and equipment
modifications to support production.
● Support the development of training materials and standard operating procedures
(SOPs) for process and system changes.
Qualifications:
● Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology,
or a related field.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
● Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
methodologies is a plus.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
