The Manager, Supply Chain Operations, is a supply chain-focused operations role that supports development and production of modules and components at supplier sites in order to ensure on-time development and delivery of products. They will manage a team of Supply & Demand Planner Managers, Operations Program Managers, and Supply Chain Program Managers.
Compensation
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $172,000 to $286,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.

Lead and manage a team of Operations Program Managers (OPMs) responsible for production of complex module assemblies at supplier sites. This includes responsibility for the overall production readiness of these high-complexity modules, including resource allocation, production scheduling, incoming material readiness, and coordination between different production stages up and down the chain.Lead and manage a team of Supply & Demand Planning Managers (SDPMs) responsible for ensuring Zoox’s hardware demands are well understood across all programs and areas of the business and that our internal teams and external partners are prepared to meet those demands, on time, consistently. This includes responsibility for the aggregated materials forecast and supply commitments for hardware programs starting from development and into mass production, encompassing critical component planning, allocation direction, supply flexibility modeling, and materials liability managementLead and manage a team of Supply Chain Program Managers (SCPMs) responsible for synchronizing the activities of all teams engaging with the supply chain and reporting on all risks via metrics and KPIs to ensure the timely and efficient execution of our business objectives. This includes responsibility for regular status and issue updates on overall supply chain readiness to executive management, including highlighting potential risks, outlining proposed solutions, and mitigating stepsCollaborate closely with all teams working in the supply chain, including Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Quality, Vehicle Engineering, Advanced Hardware Engineering, Logistics and Manufacturing OperationsLead communication and reporting of supply chain operational readiness to executive managementQualifications
Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience in relevant hardware supply chain roles and people leadershipExperience with manufacturing environments, process engineering, and/or product development. In addition, experience in either PCBs, PCBAs, or complex vehicle modules such as harnesses and batteries.Excellent project management skills including planning, communicating with stakeholders, setting expectations, problem-solving, and prioritizing, along with exceptional communication skills demonstrated by the ability to motivate, influence, and impress effectively at various levels.Knowledge of and experience using various program management methodologies, practices, and tools to lead cross-functional projects to deliver high-impact strategic initiativesKnowledge of and experience using various material planning methodologies, practices, and toolsAbility to travel up to 25%
