We are currently seeking a Manager of Order Operations to develop and maintain the Lucid order operations program and team. This person will be responsible for creating consistent and intuitive order processes to support the company’s efforts in scaling and expanding globally. They will need to maintain close cross-functional relationships to ensure vehicle build weeks are filled appropriately.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
· California (Bay Area) - $131,000 - $170,000
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. The Role
Develop and maintain a structured and scalable Order Operations program to ensure consistency of all aspects of vehicle orders, including but not limited to ensuring accurate configurations, payments and refundsBe the primary owner of vehicle build plans, beginning with Lucid’s first product, the Air. This includes managing the assignment and reassignment of customer orders to specific build cyclesBuild out a team to support the continued expansion of Lucid’s operations across new marketsWork closely with Sales, Product Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Logistics to maximize potential deliveriesWork closely with Systems teams to define business requirements for Lucid’s CRM and ERP systemsWork closely with Finance, Audit and Systems teams to ensure orders and payments are appropriately reflected in all relevant systemsManage the revenue recognition reviews on an ongoing basisProvide operational support to business partners for ad-hoc initiativesOversee the operational activities of the Order Operations team, ensuring efficient and effective execution of business processes. Manage and motivate staff to operate in an environment for meeting and exceeding company expectationsDevelop KPI’s and targets for the team and provide necessary assistance to achieve said goalsQualifications
6+ years of experience in order operations, business planning, or similar role5+ years of experience managing teams in a Business Office administration capacity or similar.Demonstrated experience in project management, from ideation to delivery and launchPassion for the customer experience, and an understanding of how operational efficiencies impact said experienceAbility to partner cross-functionally to deliver major initiatives, all while relentlessly prioritizing based on needComfort navigating ambiguity, and an ability to create in an undefined, unestablished environmentSelf-starter mentality and comfort working in a high energy, fast-paced environmentExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills, both written and verbal
