We are currently seeking a Logistics & Trade Compliance coordinator. This position requires an experienced professional with the ability to support Finished Vehicle and spare parts distribution for Europe. The successful candidate will have spent considerable time overseeing all aspects of a company’s supply chain, from preparation to transportation to delivery. This position requires partnership with Supply Chain, QA/QC, Manufacturing, Packaging, Engineering, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs to execute processes and manage changes. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:
Prepare, handle, and coordinate the in/outbound shipment, and documentation (proforma invoices, custom clearance requests & delivery instructions) to ensure the timely delivery of parts, components, and vehicles in Europe.Provide operational oversight and support, including interaction with internal and external stakeholders to obtain and provide the information necessary to properly document Europe import and export shipments for the timely and compliant movement of goods and materials in and out of Europe.Liaise with customs brokers to facilitate fast border crossingMake sure Customs documentation for the various countries where Lucid Operates, is stored, kept up to date to facilitate post entry auditsMonitor Lucid’s Customs deferment accounts to make sure payments are monitored and made in timeEnsure the most cost-effective rate is used to move cargo/package within the required timeframe from the most reliable sources.Ensure timely updates of shipment details and update the system timely to meet documentation requirements.Ensure all transport document is safely stored and structured in a digital way.Filling and following up on the transportation claim per supplierCollecting and analyzing the transportation rate, performance per supplier Overseeing and solving operational issues; participating in supplier performance reviews and keeping internal stakeholders informed about improvement plans.Participating in the project of transportation management system for both parts and finished vehicles.Planning for adequate carrier capacity and storage space to keep pace with volume growthRequirements:
3+ years of relevant experience with automotive logistics, transportation, and global trade process and procedures, preferably in a high-volume environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with success in working across organizations at all levels.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasksStrong computer proficiency in MS Office applications. Advanced Excel skills requiredExperience with TMS software applicationsEducation Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics Engineering, or related field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be consideredLEAN, GK, or Six Sigma Certifications a plus
