As a Logistics Specialist I, you will be responsible for providing logistics support, including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination for Crusoe Energy Systems.
A day in the life:
Gather transportation requirements from internal departments, plan, facilitate, and monitor execution
Coordinate domestic and international transportation including shipping, heavy haul, LTL and hot shots
Ensure accuracy of purchase orders, shipping documents, change orders, and invoices
Provide status updates and recommendations to internal stakeholders
Ensure suppliers provide safe, timely, and cost-effective transportation
Make special shipping arrangements as necessary including periodic on-call emergencies
Coordinate with suppliers to rectify shortages, damages, & nonconformance to specifications
Work with the accounting department to reconcile bills and invoices
Develop processes to organize and streamline the transportation supply chain
Reconcile UPS WorldShip activities and coordinate problem resolution with UPS Reps
Analyze business requirements and supplier performance, develop and execute sourcing strategies
Develop processes to track and improve receiving at warehouses and project sites
Travel occasionally to warehouses or project locations to assist in inventory management

Experience working with Google Suite of products
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience is a plus
UPS WorldShip experience is a plus
Warehouse, operations, and import/export experience is a plus
Experience with Requests for Proposal (RFPs) is a plus

Compensation Range:
Compensation will be paid in the range of $22-26/hr. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
