We are currently seeking a LiDAR Engineer for our ADAS/Autonomous Driving team. This position requires an experienced professional with a track record of technical excellence in automotive LiDAR technologies.

Your Role:
Work in a world-class ADAS/AD team and a highly dynamic environmentEvaluate the capabilities of state-of-the-art automotive LiDARs, work with Perception, Systems and other teams to identify the sensors that meet the requirements of the vehicle programsWork closely with cross-functional teams on sensor packaging, integration, diagnostics and firmware updateEnsure the conformity to the required operational conditions (temperature, EM, power, vibration, etc.)Be responsible for component level and vehicle level verification, validation, and tuning of sensor hardware. Work with the supplier to resolve design and production issuesBe able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems using diagnostic toolsAssist in the development of sensor calibration and manufacturing processesSupport the development and production of ADAS/AD features such as Highway Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Detection, etc.Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in automotive LiDARs, such as design, development, testing, application, etc.Detailed understanding of automotive LiDAR operation principles and design tradeoffsAt least 2 years of experience with automotive HW packaging and related analysis methodsKnowledge of sensor calibration and validation methods1 year of working knowledge of LiDAR data processing and analysis using a common programming language, e.g., Python, Matlab, C++, etc.Familiar with Linux environment and essential shell scripting3+ years of work experience preferred in automotive or related fieldsExcellent communication skillsAdvantage:
Hands-on experiences in semiconductor/photonic devices, electronic or optical components testing and trouble shootingExperiences in optical simulation and CAD toolsLiDAR related programming (point cloud processing, sensor calibration, etc.)Working knowledge of computer vision algorithms and other automotive sensor technologiesDetailed knowledge of UDSEducation:
BS minimum in the areas of Physics, Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related fieldsHigher Degree strongly preferred
