Legal Counsel (all genders)

Your mission:

• You provide legal advice and guidance to management and business units, particularly in the areas of contract law, national and international contract negotiations, commercial and corporate law, intellectual property, data protection, compliance, and dispute resolution.
• You draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), letters of intent, cooperation agreements, partner agreements, and framework agreements, often in direct coordination with customers and business partners.
• You create, maintain, and further develop legal templates, standards, and contractual documentation.
• You monitor relevant legislation and case law, assess their impact on the business, and derive practical recommendations and necessary measures.
• You collaborate closely with colleagues across various departments, our international group companies, and external legal advisors.
• You contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and support cross-functional projects with your legal expertise.
• You support the Legal Department in its day-to-day operations, including contract management and general legal administration.

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed the First and Second German State Examinations in Law (Volljurist/in) or hold a comparable qualification in German law.
• You possess solid knowledge of German civil, commercial, and corporate law and ideally have experience with international legal matters.
• You have at least 2–3 years of professional experience as a Legal Counsel or attorney, preferably in international commercial law and/or arbitration proceedings.
• You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner and can manage complex legal matters effectively.
• You are able to communicate complex legal topics in a clear, practical, and business-oriented way.
• You have a hands-on mentality and a pragmatic approach to developing legally sound solutions that support business objectives.
• You enjoy working in cross-functional and international teams and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.
• You have very good MS Office skills.
• You are business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken. Additional language skills are considered an advantage.
