The Learning Architect will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement and manage an efficient and effective technical training program for our partners.  The Learning Architect will manage a team of trainers and instructional designers to ensure that they meet the needs of our partners and customers by delivering high-quality technical training that is engaging, effective, and scalable with the overall objective of enabling partners to perform quality field services for EV Solution Customers on behalf of ChargePoint. The successful candidate will have a proven record of technical training and certifications in the technology, solar or related industry, and have excellent communication, leadership and project management skills.

As a Learning Architect at ChargePoint, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing effective learning strategies and solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to analyze learning needs, design learning frameworks, and create engaging learning experiences.

Job Description

• Develop and implement technical training programs and content that align with company goals and objectives thorough needs analyses to identify learning goals, performance gaps, and target audience characteristics.
• Design comprehensive learning strategies and frameworks to ensure smooth delivery and service excellence to customers by our trained partners.
• Develop learning curricula and programs, defining the scope, sequence, and content of the learning materials.
• Apply instructional design principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences that meet the needs of various audiences.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather content and ensure instructional accuracy.
• Design and develop a variety of learning materials, including e-learning modules, videos, job aids, and simulations utilizing various instructional methods, technologies, and multimedia elements to enhance learning outcomes.
• Implement evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness and impact of learning initiatives and recommend improvements.
• Ensure that all training materials and resources are up-to-date, accurate, and relevant.
• Manage relationships with partners and customers to ensure that their training needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
• Work with training vendors to identify and implement best practices and new technologies to improve training delivery.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as education, instructional design, or business administration
• 7+ years proven experience as a Learning Architect, Instructional Designer, or similar role.
• Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with learning management systems and other training technologies
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other training software
• Engineering / Solar industry background in education or experience

The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $58,500 to $123,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
