Network Design and Planning:
Participating in an agile team and tracking day to day activities in Jira.
Develop and maintain the organization's network architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance leveraging industry standards and architectural frameworks.
Design and implement network solutions that meet current and future business requirements.

Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of junior and intermediate network engineers, providing guidance, training, and support.
Strong influencing, interpersonal communication, and collaboration skills.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other IT/OT systems and projects.

Network Security:
Implement and enforce security measures to protect the Fluence network infrastructure.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively address security threats.
Ensuring network security and communicating security vulnerabilities of all severities to affected stakeholders within Fluence product organization.

Vendor Management:
Evaluate and select networking hardware, software, and service providers.
Manage vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and performance expectations.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor network performance, analyze trends, and implement optimizations as needed.
Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with other IT/OT teams, stakeholders, and management to understand business requirements and align network solutions accordingly.
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Documentation:
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of network architecture, configurations, and procedures.

Troubleshooting and Incident Response:
Lead troubleshooting efforts during network outages or incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
Establish and maintain incident response procedures for network-related issues.
Troubleshooting and debugging production environments and providing support to a global organization.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking or a related technical field.

8-10 years of proven experience as a Lead Network Architect or in a similar role.

Solid understanding of OSI layer models and experience in deploying network configurations.

Ability to work independently with little day to day guidance to achieve targets and goals.

Experience in remote access VPN, site-to-site VPN, Cisco Routers, Cisco Firewalls, Cisco Switches, SD-WAN, Meraki.

Experience in implementing & maintaining compliance with ISO 27001, NIST-800, NERC-CIP standards.

Experience with AWS, container or virtualization technologies, and/or Github.

Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as Python and/or shell/bash scripting.

Experience using Ansible for management of network infrastructure is a big plus.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Architect, Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP) are a plus.

In-depth knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and security measures.

Strong leadership, mentoring and coaching skills, Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
