Based in Berkeley, CA, UPSIDE Foods grows meat, poultry, and seafood directly from animal cells.  These products are not vegan or vegetarian—they are delicious meat, made without the need to raise and slaughter billions of animals. UPSIDE Foods recently became the first company in the world to receive the US FDA greenlight for cultivated meat, and UPSIDE’s cultivated chicken will be available to consumers following USDA inspection and label approval.

Over the past two years UPSIDE Foods has experienced rapid growth throughout the organization, with particularly high levels of growth in our R&D Team. We are seeking a Lab Operations Associate to support our growing R&D organization by keeping our labs running smoothly and efficiently. You will ensure that our researchers have the equipment, supplies, and facilities to perform their work, and will help streamline operations spanning all R&D functions. This role is a great opportunity for people that are looking to develop their time management, task management, and prioritization skills in an innovative, fast-paced laboratory environment.

Compensation Range: $56,000 - $70,000*
