Our R&D team is now rapidly expanding and we’re looking for a Lab/Shop Floor Manufacturing Technician to join us on our mission.

In the role you'll
Assist the R&D team with manufacturing processes like metal working, CNC machining (tooling, setting up jigs and fixtures) on a day-to-day basis.Build/assemble prototypes according to technical drawings.Maintain and overlook equipment for manual, semi/fully automated manufacturing processes.Maintain a clean and orderly environment at the shop floor.
What you'll need
Qualifications in Manufacturing or Engineering (not necessarily academic).Thorough understanding of technical drawings and P&IDs.Basic metalworking skills (mark and cut, threading, filing, joining, soldering).Demonstrable expertise maintaining/building equipment for semi/fully automated manufacturing of protypes. This will include manual, computer- controlled or electrically actuated machines for precision use, tensile testing machines, etc.Computer literacy including use of Microsoft Office and similar programs, for project management and reporting.Positive attitude, good collaboration, and communication skills.Confidence taking a “hands on” approach, using hand tools, disassembling, and reassembling working machines with precision mechanical components.
Any other experience with similar “hands on” processes like the above mentioned is welcome.
