The Lab & Office Manager will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the new research and development \ office facility. A successful candidate will be a positive and energetic self-starter, and enjoy managing a wide variety of workstreams. The right candidate will thrive in fast-paced environments and display exceptional multi-tasking skills while managing priorities. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify opportunities for site and process management improvements, and work directly with senior personnel to design and implement new systems for operational efficiencyMonitor and manage daily office operations, including, but not limited to, coordination of deliveries, management of vendor and building interactions, and purchase of laboratory and office suppliesMonitor consumable spending, providing monthly spending reports to managerConsolidate purchases for cost savings and to improve work performance and efficiencyIndependently identify and problem-solve administrative and facility issues as they ariseServe as a resource to all guests and site employees for “traffic flow” questions, acting as the point of contact for all office and administrative needsMaintain database of required training for lab personnelBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
College degree in Chemistry, Biology, Materials Science, or a related field of study strongly preferred; or an equivalent of education plus relevant management experienceADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
