We are looking for a Human-Computer Interaction Research Intern to join our Experience Research workstream. The ideal candidate is a passionate creative thinker, who is eager to learn and solve challenging problems. You will be involved in all design and development of vehicle human-to-system interfaces in an integrated and collaborative fashion, supporting the design, development, and preparation of deliverables.

Compensation

The monthly salary range for this position is $5,500 to $7,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.

Vaccine Mandate

Employees working in this position will be required to have received a vaccine approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and/or the World Health Organization. Requirements

Work closely with designers, researchers, engineers, and product managers to identify research needs and develop a research strategy.

Design, plan, and execute research activities including but not limited to: field studies, interviews, participatory design, interaction analysis, and analogous research.

Communicate research findings in a clear and meaningful manner to key stakeholders Synthesize research insights and actionable recommendations to inform product decisions.

Qualifications

Masters and/or Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human-Robot Interaction(HRI), or Human Factors(HF) Research.

Experience in applying human-centered design and design thinking principles.

Experience with a wide variety of design research methodologies including but not limited to: field observation, interviews, participatory design, interaction analysis, and analogous research.

Experience creating user profiles and persona (strategic).

Passion for exploring emerging technologies and making a positive impact on customers’ lives through your work.
