About the Job

We are looking for an IT support engineer responsible for maintaining office equipment and supporting software infrastructure and security :

• Assist in installing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting all office hardware (e.g. printers, laptops, mobile devices)
• Procure office equipment orders based on staff or project needs
• Support, maintain, and troubleshoot onsite network infrastructure
• Deploy, support, and maintain software infrastructure (e.g. active directory, Microsoft services, Google Workspace)
• Apply policies and perform security audits for internal infrastructure and cloud services
• Provide timely and effective user support by remote or onsite assistance
• Assist with the management of user accounts, emails, shared folders, permissions, domain logins, and network group policies
• Enforce compliance of all data access methods with GDPR policies
• Manage SaaS costs for departmental resources

About you

• Proven work experience in IT support
• Experience in administration and maintenance of office network infrastructure
• Experience in security audits for onsite and cloud infrastructures
• Knowledge of user permission management and network policies
• In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing hardware
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Client-focused mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Greek & English)

Nice to have

• BSc in Computer Science or relevant field
• Experience in administration of Microsoft Active Directory and Office suites
• Experience in SaaS cost optimization
• Experience in VPN network administration
• Keen interest in keeping up to date with the latest trends in personal computing, networking technologies, and security practices
