The Role:
Source, Test and Configure the modern endpoint management systems such as: JAMF, Intune (and Azure AD), Microsoft Autopilot, SCCM (Endpoint Configuration Manager), and or equivalent. Lead formal technical proof of concept exercises for new products and capabilities. Advanced working knowledge of Windows and Mac System Image development and deployment, including application packaging, patching, local policy configuration, log analysis, and security settings. Be constantly on the lookout for opportunities to eliminate manual work through automation. Develop and document standards and practices for our endpoint system architecture. Collaborate with our primary internal customers to respond to requests, troubleshoot and remediate issues. Become a trusted advisor to Helpdesk for hardware and a Liaison between the IT systems team. Partner as a resource with Asset Management to maintain laptop inventory, data and visibility for IT finance/budget optimization. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/technical degree or equivalent and five (5) years of general experience, additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree Proficient experience with industry-standard tools and frameworks such as Windows PowerShell, command-line tools, Bash Scripting. 5 years hands on experience supporting and deploying Windows OS (Windows 8.1, 10) in an enterprise environment of 1,000+ endpoints. 5 years hands on experience supporting and deploying Mac OS X in an enterprise environment of 1,000+ endpoints. Proficient working knowledge of client security methods, anti-virus, encryption, MFA. 5 years of experience with Active Directory, including user and computer object creation and management, and Group Policy Object creation and management. Proficient working user administration of Microsoft Exchange, O365 and Outlook clients. General administration and troubleshooting of mobile devices (iOS, Android). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Positive attitude and team player mindset is a must in this role. Experience with globally dispersed teams and time zones. Advantageous: Microsoft Desktop Technician (MCTS) or appropriate experience JAMF certified
