What You Will Be Doing

The IT Administrator reports to the IT Support Manager and is responsible for performing on-site and remote troubleshooting, collaborating with IT Operations, managing end-user workstations, responding to service requests, coordinating with vendors, and managing IT assets. Key skills include customer service commitment, decision-making, troubleshooting, communication, multitasking, and project management, supported by technical expertise in MS Windows, MacOS, SaaS applications, Microsoft 365, JIRA, mobile device management, and asset tracking tools. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise IT and a relevant bachelor's degree.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • Perform on-site and remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex system issues for end users. Recommend and implement effective corrective solutions, including coordinating off-site repairs for remote users when necessary
  • Collaborate closely with IT Operations team members to maintain the efficient operation of the organization’s computing environment
  • Administer and resolve issues related to end‑user workstations, software, and networking as required
  • Receive, triage, and respond to incoming service requests regarding system or application problems
  • Coordinate with third‑party support providers and hardware vendors when needed to ensure timely issue resolution
  • Support troubleshooting efforts for Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook Webmail
  • Assist with resolving issues involving OneDrive, SharePoint, Slack, Microsoft Teams, JIRA, and other business applications
  • Manage IT assets, including inventory tracking, procurement, and asset updates in FreshService, and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Setting up audio/video production environment for town halls, all-hands, and other events
  • Producing smooth and seamless transitions on a broadcast switcher/scaler (BlackMagic, Analog Way, Barco, etc)
  • Color grade and correct incoming SDI video feeds for ambient lighting conditions for broadcast  
  • Troubleshoot and deploy NDI / HDBaseT Video over IP senders/receivers in conference rooms
  • Shoot primary & B-roll shots for video  
  • Edit video from video shoots 
  • Perform other related duties aligned with the scope and intent of the role

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field/training. 
  • 5+ years of experience working in an enterprise‑level IT environment. 
  • Proficiency in supporting Windows, macOS, Linux, Okta, and other SaaS applications. 
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Office 365 and the Office Suite. 
  • Experience working with JIRA and Confluence. 
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) technologies such as Kandji, Intune, or JumpCloud. 
  • Experience using asset management platforms such as FreshService. 
  • Preferably 3+ years of experience in setting up AV for townhalls and all-hands, specifically mixing for in-person & virtual on a digital audio console (Midas, Soundcraft, Allen & Heath)  
  • Understanding of Crestron devices/control systems

  • Strong ability to manage projects, tasks, and day‑to‑day IT operational functions. 

 

Location

Campbell, CA

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $90,000 to $120,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and specific work location
