YOUR IMPACT
As an International Policy Specialist, you will be instrumental in shaping and influencing fusion energy policy within Europe, ensuring alignment with broader European and global policy frameworks. The role requires deep knowledge of EU governmental and regulatory landscapes, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to fostering strategic relationships.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will contribute to our international policy and political engagements.
Support our Head of International Policy to build and maintain active relations with EU policymakers, regulators, and governmental bodies to promote fusion energy policy initiatives.
Monitor EU policy, regulatory, and financial developments to anticipate opportunities and risks for Proxima.
Develop policy proposals, position papers, and public funding applications specifically targeted toward European institutions.
Be part of Proxima’s policy team, representing the company in policy-related forums, industry associations, and governmental meetings.
WHO YOU ARE
Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, STEM or related fields. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Fluency in English is a must, other EU languages are a plus.
Exceptional communicator, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders across various levels of government and industry.
Strong networking skills, knowledge of the EU political landscape.
A passionate advocate for fusion energy and sustainable technology solutions.
Resilient, mission-driven, and proactive with a proven ability to navigate complex policy environments.
