What You Will Be Doing

We are seeking an experienced motivated HR Manager to join our dynamic team. As an HR Manager for our Bangalore location you will work closely with the local HR Team, the Global People team as well as leaders and managers locally and abroad to drive the People Team strategy and vision for Bangalore, in alignment with ChargePoint’s business goals.  In this role you will take a lead role in supporting HR’s reporting and analytics needs and a wide range of HR tasks for the full emplolyee life cycle. The HR Manager for Banglaore is responsible for ensuring the HR department’s operations are running smoothly and efficiently to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole. 

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • Driving the people strategy for ChargePoint’s Bangalore offices, helping the organization to scale.
  • Actively contribute to the design, development, local implementation and coordination of HR strategies, policies and operations in partnership with the business and regional & corporate leadership
  • Help to make ChargePoint a great place to work by creating a positive work environment and driving a healthy culture, support culture building activities and social events for the Bangalore site
  • Providing a full spectrum of both strategic and tactical HR support for a wide range of processes in the employee life cycle such as recruiting, employee onboarding, personal data changes, talent management programs, local benefits and offboarding.
  • Responsible for data management; entering data into HR information systems, organizing, cleaning and auditing data from multiple sources ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Reporting and visualization, develop reports, dashboards and visualizations to present analytics findingds in a clear and concise manner, enabling stakeholders to make data driven decisions.
  • Colloborate with HR partners to understand business needs and provide abalytical support and deliver actionable recommendations that drive performance improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and protection regulations, implement data governance frameworks and maintain data quality standards.
  • Provide dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters
  • Help organize training & development initiatives
  • Ensure legal compliance of state and Government regulations and applicable employment laws related to HR
  • Support the mobility of talent (international transfers, visa, sponsorship application, etc.)
  • Effectively partner with Central HR Functions such as Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Talent Management, DEI, Business Partners etc. to support various programs and initiatives.
  • Assist in new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the organizations operations and to improve employee experience
  • Lead, develop, and work on cross-functional projects and enterprise-wide initiatives  

Requirements

  • Graduation / Post Graduation in HR or relevant field
  • Proven experience of 7+ years as an HR Generalist / Specialist
  • Understanding of general human resources operations, policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems e.g. UltiPro, Workday etc
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving and thinking outside the box
  • Strong analytical mindset with he ability to interpret data sets, identify patters and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Experience creating visually appleaing and interactive dashboards
  • Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach
  • Knowledge of HR trainings will be a plus
  • Understanding of US general HR policies, a plus
  • Knowledge of employment/labour laws.US labour laws a plus
  • This will be a night shift role and you are required to work between 8.00pm to 5.00am IST
