Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

ICON is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as the key HR resource for business units within the organization. As an HRBP at ICON, you will be responsible for driving and executing the talent management strategies in order to further ICON’s mission of making dignified housing accessible to everyone and advance humanity..This role is based at ICON’s Austin, TX lab and will report to the Director of HR on ICON’s People team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with department leads and cross-functional managers in your business unit. 
• Provide strategic business support and coaching to all levels of the assigned business unit. 
• Oversee the application of existing HR principles and practices within the assigned business unit. 
• Develop and propose strategic initiatives to support the achievement of business unit goals under the oversight of HR leadership. 
• Work with hiring managers to scope out department headcount needs and the corresponding skills and experience.
• Serve as HR lead for all talent initiatives and programs within the assigned business area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Prior experience leading HR initiatives,  such as performance management or reorganizations, for an assigned business unit. 
• Experience using an applicant tracking system. 
• Experience using a HRIS. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Proficiency with human resources KPIs.
• Thorough understanding of DE&I best practices within the HR space.
