We’re spearheading the transition to greener, cheaper energy through the installation of in-home technologies; from smart meters and electric car chargers; to low carbon heating, home batteries, solar, and beyond. We're looking for a Head of Scheme Delivery to join us at Octopus Energy Services.

You will be responsible for creating and delivering a market leading experience for the customers of social housing, local authority, house builder and any other scheme based low carbon project. Anything that involves delivering solutions to multiple properties as part of a scheme - it’s your remit, you won't be afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in!

This is a hybrid role with regular travel to our R&D centre in Slough and customers nationally.

What you'll do

You will work closely with our senior leadership, business development team, installation teams, external partners & our customers to develop positively disruptive low carbon installation and maintenance propositions across the UK. This will include our leading electrification technologies such as solar, home batteries, air source heat pumps, chargers and more

You will be responsible for the on-the-ground delivery, working closely with our business development team to source and secure projects and with the end customer and our installation teams to deliver them

What you'll need

Significant understanding of Social Housing, Local Authority and other scheme oriented customers, such as house builders

Ability to seek opportunities and thrive in environments of growth

Understanding of full end to end customer experience within a contract management environment, specifically in local authority / Social Housing

Experience coordinating the delivery of projects with the customers and the installation teams (be the bridge between the two)

Experience working with customers to develop specific solutions to meet their needs; or ability to identify opportunities within tender processes

To be expert at delivering outrageously good customer experience

An entrepreneurial flair, the ability to think laterally, disruptively and inspire others to do the same

To be a self-starter and not afraid to roll sleeves up and get stuck in

To be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external customers

To be able to work with colleagues from across the business, playing a key part in shaping the customer proposition

To be willing to travel in order to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships
