Requirements

As a Head of Sales, you will be responsible for growing our commercial pipeline, building on the commercial success to date within UK and EU markets.


Your role:

  • Owning the commercial strategy and driving sales and revenue growth across chosen markets
  • Taking complete leadership of the sales pipeline and bring in new strategic customers and partners
  • Working within the business development team on sales strategy, setting sales targets, reviewing performance, and optimising sales materials
  • Delivering improvements in customer conversion and retention
  • Leading new commercial opportunities and sales plans
  • Taking ownership of the sales KPIs with a goal to continuously grow the sales funnel

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong in building sales channels and closing partnerships
  • 5+ years of sales experience with a strong B2B sales track record, preferably within the food, retail or tech industry
  • Experience in managing the entire sales lifecycle
  • Experience in developing commercial relationships and closing deals with senior management
  • Experience working in a startup (Series A or later) and in international expansion
  • Knowledge of food production and grocery markets in the UK and EU will be seen as a bonus
  • Ability to coach and mentor sales staff
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
