We are seeking an innovative and experienced Senior Manager to drive Financial Services priorities and initiatives in North America. This is a critical role that requires analytical skills, business acumen and a comprehensive knowledge of Automotive, Financial Services and Remarketing.  As a senior manager you are responsible for the strategy, day to day operations and ongoing expansion of our business in two key markets. You will collaborate cross-functionally and interact with business partners to execute Lucid’s sales and financial services goals.
 
This position is available to hire in-person or remote with travel to Lucid Motors HQ and facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Financial Services operational priorities to support Lucid sales and marketing strategy in North America.
  • Oversee customer facing vertical and staff to optimize sales and maintain effective customer relationships to increase revenues and improve efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Support optimization of new and pre-owned sales planning including proposed pricing strategy, residual value strategy and new business processes
  • Develop, propose, and present financial services and pricing management strategies and translate them into a Go-to-market operational plan
  • Execute on the design of the retail consumer purchase experience and implementation of loan & lease and ancillary & assurance program offerings. Lead customer service for loan and lease product offerings.
  • Support the management of the Financial Services business in North America, working with and providing strategic and tactical recommendations to Lucid’s leadership team
  • Manage North American FS partners internally and externally, operating among various retail channels and manage potential conflict through transparent communication and by supporting adherence to channel rules of engagement
  • Lead project workstreams to successfully achieve on-time, requirements-driven, deliverable outcomes in collaboration with internal stakeholders such as product, online sales, marketing, legal, finance and after-sales
  • Assist with day-to-day aspects of contact center and store management including training, inquiries & support related to a consumer’s digital/in-store purchase lifecycle, as it relates to financial services
  • Qualifications:

  • Experience in at least 7 or more of the following areas and working knowledge of the others:
  • Automotive, auto finance and financial products, residual value forecasting, pricing strategy, regulatory framework in the US and Canada.
  • BA/BS degree required
  • Extremely analytical with technical expertise in (auto) finance, economics, statistics
  • Entrepreneurial, out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious with a strong work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate complicated concepts and recommended courses of action to engage diverse audiences as well as inform and educate senior executive team
  • Ability to think strategically, drive for results, build a high-performance organization, continuously drive innovation, and inspire the organization to achieve and exceed its objectives
  • Must be able to multi-task, be flexible, and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong experience and track record creating something from scratch
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, effective project planning in terms of resources, strategies, cost, and time with ability to meet project timelines
  • Strong subject matter expertise within automotive lending, ancillary/assurance products and/or re-marketing
  • Proven experience in structuring and negotiation, leading cross-functional collaboration
