Global ERP implementation will be at the core of the transformation and will be a strategic companywide initiative. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Global ESG & Fixed Asset Process Lead to play a pivotal role in our organization's commitment to sustainability and responsible financial management. This position will be responsible for leading our ESG initiatives and managing the global fixed asset processes to ensure compliance, accuracy, and optimal utilization of assets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG):

1. ESG Strategy Development:

· Develop, implement, and manage the organization's ESG strategy, aligning it with our core values and business objectives.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG principles into business operations and decision-making.

2. Sustainability Reporting:

· Oversee the collection and analysis of ESG data to prepare accurate and timely sustainability reports for internal and external stakeholders.

· Ensure compliance with ESG reporting standards and regulations.

3. Stakeholder Engagement:

· Engage with investors, customers, and partners on ESG matters, responding to inquiries and fostering transparent communication.

4. ESG Risk Management:

· Identify and assess ESG-related risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies to enhance the organization's sustainability and resilience.

Fixed Asset Management:

5. Global Fixed Asset Strategy:

· Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for managing the organization's fixed assets, including acquisition, depreciation, maintenance, and disposal.

6. Asset Tracking and Reporting:

· Implement systems and processes for accurate tracking and reporting of fixed assets across the organization.

· Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

7. Asset Optimization:

· Optimize the utilization of fixed assets to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and extend asset lifecycles.

· Identify opportunities for capital investments and divestitures.

8. Compliance and Audit:

· Coordinate and support fixed asset audits, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

· Address audit findings and implement necessary improvement

What will the ideal candidate bring to Fluence:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Sustainability, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CMA, CSR) preferred.
  • Minimum 5- 7 years of experience in ESG-related roles or functions to include experience with ESG strategy development and implementation, as well as fixed asset management in a global context.
  • In-depth knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD) and sustainability best practices.
  • Experience with SAP/ERP implementation processes within finance a plus.
  • Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting principles and relevant regulations.
  • Experience with ESG data collection, analysis, and reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence change across diverse teams.
