We are looking for a Grant Program Manager to be responsible for managing technical outcomes of complex multiyear government grant for Electric Hydrogen. You will be the primary contact point between government agencies and Electric Hydrogen. You will have the authority and responsibility to ensure technology objectives for the grant are executed, documented, and presented to the responsible agency in accordance with grant directives.

You will work onsite at our location in Devens, MA. Though this is a 100% in-person onsite position, some flexibility is possible. You will report to the Director of Program Management. 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all activities with the management of the grant for Electric Hydrogen. You will serve as the face of Electric Hydrogen to applicable government agencies and research labs
  • Working closely with our finance team to develop, review, and manage grant applicable budget to accomplish program goals and objectives
  • Develop, review, and endorse program scope/plans/action items to support the accomplishment of mission as stated in grant objectives in a safe, efficient, and effective manner
  • Continuously monitor, report and evaluate granny cost, schedule, and the completion of programmatic goals and milestones in accordance with approved plans
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly progress reports and make presentations to reflect overall program status, cost and funding to internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor and report roadblocks, issues, resource requirements, adherence to schedules and milestones, and other program issues to Principal Investigator and management team
  • Maintain effective communication with government agencies, internal and external stakeholders, partner companies, regulatory agencies, and other applicable stakeholders to accomplish program goals
  • Ensure that safety is integrated into management and work practices to accomplish program objectives and ensure worker and public health and safety
  • Ensure that programs execution complies with grant directives, Federal and State Regulations, and other binding agreements

Qualifications

  • PhD in Chemical engineering/ Chemistry/ Material Physics with a minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D/product development, or a Master’s degree in Chemical engineering/Chemistry/Material Physics with a minimum of 10 years of experience in R&D/product development
  • Government Grant management experience is required
  • 5-8 years of experience managing complex programs and changes
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • Well-versed with program management skills and methodologies

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
