About the Role

• Establish Loam’s physical presence in Brazil, leading the product development program, with a focus on field trialling and product registration
• Refining and executing the product registration roadmap, before shifting into identifying strategic partnerships and running commercial pilot trials
  • Plan and execute logistics for greenhouse, small plot and on-farm trial programs, working with specialised consultants and Contract Research Organisations where required
  • Identify, develop and manage relationships with key channel partners, agronomy networks, major growers and other market participants, including strategic partnerships with key organisations and individuals
• Help shape the product development and commercialisation roadmaps for the region, including:
  • Developing gantt chart of key deliverables and dependencies for pre-commercial product development, and registration.
  • Business activities, including establishment of physical presence and a credentialed business entity.
  • Identifying and hiring key roles across strategy and operations
• Future scope of position to grow into a Country or Region lead

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years experience, with 5+ years proven experience as a program manager, director or country lead
• Demonstrated experience working in Brazil and in the broader South American context, delivering a rich understanding of business, policy and agricultural context.
• Experience working within the field of carbon markets and/or sustainable agriculture would be helpful
• Demonstrated experience in implementing country/product/functional level strategies for market entry and adoption in the agricultural sector
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Portuguese, with the ability to clearly articulate complex subjects to a global audience
• Ability to thrive and exercise judgement in a fast-paced environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities
