We are currently seeking a Purchase Associate and Supply Chain Analysist –Construction The Purchasing Associate and Supply Chain Analysist –Construction manages global and local sourcing for all assigned commodities and work from the Global Supply Managers supporting various vehicle systems, maintain the component timelines, and assist with purchasing throughout the company.

Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing with vendors and suppliers.
  • Create RFQ for required services or items.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify cost savings opportunities.
  • Source and evaluate potential suppliers.
  • Follow the procurement policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and issue purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Track and monitor orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage inventory levels and stock availability.
  • Raise vendor and supplier issues to the management.
  • Monitor supplier performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing.
  • Analyze and report on procurement activities.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, technical, supply chain or finance discipline preferred
  • Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solve, as well as work independently on multiple tasks or projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of resilience to deal with urgent requests, and minimal information.  Works well with various teams
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem solving skills. Passion for results, strategy, and hands on execution. Creative, calculated risk taker with the ability to manage difficult suppliers and resolve disputes while preserving relationships with suppliers and internal staff
  • Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilities
  • Proficient in Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, ERP systems (SAP or equivalent)
  • Ability to mitigate unforeseen problems creatively and effectively
