About the company:

WE BELIEVE THERE’S A BETTER WAY TO FEED OUR FUTURE.

By shifting from animal to plant-based meat, we can positively affect the planet, the environment, the climate and even ourselves. After all, the positive choices we make every day – no matter how small – can have a great impact on our world.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

At Beyond Meat, we started with simple questions. Why do you need an animal to create meat? Why can’t you build meat directly from plants? Thus, we make plant-based meats that allow families to eat more, not less, of the traditional dishes they love while feeling great about the health, sustainability, and animal welfare benefits of plant protein. Our goal is to bring exciting change to the plate—and Beyond.

At Beyond Meat, we are focused on raising the bar on talent. We are dedicated to shaping an inclusive culture that drives excellence, innovation, and results by enabling talent acceleration and development, engagement, and the employee experience.

The Beyond Meat finance team is looking to hire a highly-driven FP&A Manager in LA to augment the FP&A function. The FP&A Manager will be a key member of the Accounting & Finance team, with responsibility for producing value-added financial analytics, both on an ad hoc and ongoing basis, to assist senior leadership in assessing critical business decisions, better understanding industry dynamics, and communicating the Company’s strategy to internal and external stakeholders, including Wall Street.

Reporting to the VP of FP&A and Investor Relations, the role delivers strategic budgeting, variance analyses, links operational performance drivers to financial results, proactively liaises with internal stakeholders and drives continuous improvement to deliverables. In addition, the FP&A Manager will provide day-to-day oversight of junior direct report[s] (Financial/Senior Financial Analyst[s]), guiding their workstreams to ensure timely and accurate completion of team deliverables, continuous process improvements and professional growth.

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD 135,000 and 150,000.  The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.  The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
