Financial Analyst

The Role:  
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support financial planning and analysis, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and provide insights to help drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. This position requires a blend of analytical prowess, strategic thinking, business acumen, and strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis: 
•    Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models to support long-term strategic planning.
•    Perform variance analysis between actual results and forecasts, identifying key drivers and trends.
•    Collaborate with departments to prepare detailed budget proposals and justify financial requests.
•    Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate the potential financial impact of various business decisions.
Budgeting and Forecasting: 
•    Own corporate financial model
•    Support the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
•    Monitor financial performance against budget, providing insights and recommendations for adjustments.
Data Management & KPI Tracking:
•    Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data from various sources.
•    Use software tools to help automate some of financial reporting
•    Work with teams to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress toward strategic goals.
Strategic Finance: 
•    Support other departments on strategic initiatives such as pricing, cost reduction, and innovation initiatives
•    Support fundraising and other capital initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
•    Work closely with various departments to gather information and support financial initiatives.
•    Identify opportunities for improvement based on detailed financial analysis

Qualifications:  

•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
•    1-3 years of experience in finance or financial analysis, with a focus on FP&A and strategic finance.
•    Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
•    Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with financial software (e.g., ERP systems) is a plus.
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills.
•    Detail-oriented with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
•    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•    Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Compensation:  
The base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $92,000 annually, which is just one aspect of our total compensation package. In addition to the salary, this position is eligible for a potential annual bonus and equity! Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
