The Feature Integration Engineering team at Zoox is at the forefront of autonomous vehicle technology, driving the definition of vehicle behaviors and interactions of our purpose-built robotaxi. We are a dynamic team closely collaborating with product, systems engineering, and component-level experts to shape the future of autonomous vehicles. Our mission is to craft solutions and define vehicle-level feature requirements that lay the foundation for delivering remarkable product capabilities. Feature Integration Engineers are the champions of a breadth of feature domains across the robot platform, taking ownership of these features across the entire product lifecycle. Compensation
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $141,000 to $200,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.

In this role, you will:
Establish and decompose vehicle-level requirements, ensuring clarity and precision in the engineering specifications.Work closely with product, systems engineering, and component-level engineers to define and integrate vehicle behaviors and interactions at the vehicle level.Focus on the integration of hardware, firmware, and software to deliver vehicle behaviors and activate product capabilities.Take full ownership of specific feature domains on the vehicle, shepherding these features throughout the entire product lifecycle.Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts, facilitate group discussions, and share project updates effectively.Deliver presentations that convey findings, progress, and insights to diverse audiences with clarity and impact.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering.At least 7 years of experienceExperience writing and decomposing engineering requirements Knowledge of vehicle engineering, robotics, and/or software development processes.Demonstrated ability to manage complex system interactions.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to meet deadlines.Adept at working cross-functionally and influencing others.Bonus Qualifications
