About Helion

We are a fusion power company based in Everett, WA, with the mission to build the world's first fusion power plant, enabling a future with unlimited clean electricity. Our vision is a world with clean, reliable, and affordable energy for everyone.

Since Helion's founding in 2013, we have raised over $1 billion from long-time investors such as Sam Altman, Mithril, and Capricorn Investment Group and new investors SoftBank and Lightspeed to propel us forward. Our last prototype, Trenta, completed 10,000 high-power pulses and reached plasma temperatures of 100 million degrees Celsius (9 keV). Now, we're turning up operations for Polaris, working towards delivering the world's first fusion power plant.

More than ever, it's a pivotal time to join us and have the opportunity to solve real challenges to create a better energy future. You will see first-hand how we value urgency, rigor, ownership, and hard truths, knowing it will take each to do what no one has before. Joining us, you will push the boundaries of what's possible and transform humanity for the better - because the world can't wait.

What You Will Be Doing:

As Facilities Operations Partner, you'll play a key role in keeping our sites organized, functional, and ready to support breakthrough innovation. This role blends coordination and hands-on execution. You'll be central to our day-to-day operations—managing vendors, tracking assets, and making sure our teams have the equipment and resources they need to succeed. You'll gain broad exposure in a dynamic environment where you can grow your career while supporting a high-impact mission. This is an onsite role reporting directly to our Senior Manager of Facilities in our Everett, WA headquarters.

You Will:

  • Manage rental equipment and site assets, tracking inventory, scheduling maintenance, and ensuring operational readiness across multiple locations
  • Oversee key vendor services, coordinating waste, recycling, kitchen equipment, pest control, landscaping, signage, and more
  • Ensure vendor accountability, managing work orders, tracking service performance, and handling POs for recurring services and repairs
  • Support site and workplace readiness, coordinating office moves, small renovations, and ensuring day-to-day functionality of tools, supplies, and safety gear
  • Draft and maintain site procedures, including emergency response plans and SOPs for recurring operations
  • Collaborate across teams, working with Workplace Operations, Construction, and Maintenance teams to solve operational challenges and keep projects moving forward

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years in facilities, operations, or workplace services, with experience coordinating vendors and supporting site operations
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills, with a talent for juggling multiple priorities and keeping things on track
  • Comfortable with basic equipment tracking and preventive maintenance planning
  • Experience managing service vendors and contract work, including proposal review and PO processes
  • Effective communicator who enjoys cross-functional teamwork and supporting hands-on operations
