You will manage the physical heartbeat of Base HQ. You own building operations. You solve alarms, leaks, power outages, and lighting failures. You assemble and deploy furniture, equipment, and lab hardware to keep teams productive. You expand our workspace as we grow. You ensure the environment stays safe, compliant, and operational. You coordinate with property management and critical vendors to protect uptime and performance.
What You’ll Do
Own day to day building maintenance to include alarms, leaks, power outages, and lighting replacement
Build furniture, networking equipment, lab equipment and other new items
Manage desk moves and expansion into new areas of HQ
Implement mail scanning system to automate alerting and tracking of all packages at HQ
Grounds management and upkeep of outdoor areas and parking lots
Primary liaison with property management and building vendors such as HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and safety services
Security, first aid, compliance (do we have required smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, etc)
What You'll Bring
Direct experience running facilities in a fast-growing hardware environment.
Technical ability to assemble equipment and diagnose basic building and network issues.
Precise organization skills to coordinate multiple vendors, tasks, and space changes.
Clear communication with both internal teams and external property partners.
A compliance mindset to ensure safety requirements are always met.
Comfort taking ownership of problems and fixing them without delay.
