Join the power movement as a Facilities & Chemical Operations Technician
We are seeking a skilled, hands-on Technician to support building maintenance, chemical operations, and Logistics (shipping/Receiving). This role supports site operations across three primary functional areas: Facilities (50%), Chemical Operations (25%), and Logistics/Shipping & Receiving (25%). The position is designed to provide flexible, cross-functional support to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant facility and laboratory operations. The role requires hands-on technical capability, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities within a dynamic environment.

What you'll do:
Facilities Support (50%)Perform routine facility inspections and preventative maintenance activitiesSupport building systems including HVAC, compressed air, vacuum, chilled water, and general utilities.Assist with vendor coordination for service, maintenance, and repairsRespond to facilities-related issues and troubleshoot equipment malfunctionsSupport small construction, buildout, and space modification projectsMaintain organized documentation of maintenance logs and compliance records
Chemical Technician Support (25%)Support chemical receiving, storage, labeling, and internal distribution in compliance with site EHS proceduresAssist with hazardous waste handling and coordination with waste vendorsPerform routine chemical inventory audits and reconciliationEnsure proper PPE usage and adherence to safety protocolsMaintain accurate documentation for regulatory and internal compliance requirementsAssist in maintaining chemical storage areas and secondary containment systems
Logistics & Shipping/Receiving (25%)Perform daily shipping and receiving activities (approx. 2–3 hours per day)Receive, inspect, log, and distribute incoming shipmentsCoordinate outgoing shipments and maintain shipping documentationMaintain organized storage areas and manage inventory of suppliesSupport monthly physical inventory countsEnsure packages and materials are properly secured and trackedWhat we’re looking for:
