What You Will Be Doing: 

The Facilities and Space Planning Lead will report to the Senior Manager of Facilities and ensure that important facilities projects are completed quickly and safely across all Helion locations. You will develop and implement the processes that will be used for coordinating moves, additions, and changes in offices, research and development environments, and in production-related facilities.  You will provide project management expertise for renovations (including managing adjustments and reconfigurations for work areas including replacing carpet, re-painting, electrical, air, and room alterations)

You Will: 

  • Lead important organizational space planning and allocation to support strategic plans
  • Oversee all areas of the moves, additions, and changes of the project cycle including budget, schedule, procurement, quality and risk) 
  • Manage all project design large and small including construction either through coordination with the in-house facilities team or through the management of outside contractors 
  • Communicate with vendors and peers to define project requirements and provide updates and eliminate blockers
  • Create a roadmap to meet organizational needs and update existing drawings and documentation to improve processes
  • Prepare MAC-related documents, vendor resource requirements, cost estimate and budget, work plan schedule and milestones, quality control, and risk identification 
  • Conduct simple requests for proposals; complete bid analysis with management support 

 

Required Skills: 

  • At least 10 years of experience providing high-quality project management support for all levels of an organization 
  • Experience working with furniture systems and their design and layout 
  • Experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation 
  • Experience in client-facing roles 
  • Experience in space and occupancy planning  

The pay range for this position is 85k-165k. This pay range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed based on several factors, including the candidate's experience and qualifications.
