Lucid is looking for an Executive & Legal Assistant to join the regional Lucid Motors HQ in Amsterdam. This role is a combined role. On the one hand, as a legal assistant/ junior paralegal for the Head of Legal Europe and the (growing) legal team in Europe. This to provide general administrative and organizational support to the growing European legal team.  On the other hand, as an Executive Assistant supporting the Managing Director, Head of Europe. The actual breakdown of time spent between these two roles depends on the daily demand from both stakeholders.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, hard-working, detail-oriented, and organized team player to join our fast-moving European team.  Amsterdam-based (Hybrid, min. 3 days on site).

The Role:

  • Schedule meetings, including issuing invitations, scheduling conference rooms, assembling background materials, preparing agendas, recording action items, and organizing any necessary catering
  • Assist with creating and modifying PowerPoint presentations
  • Compose and edit a variety of correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other material requiring judgment as to content, accuracy and completeness
  • Manage correspondence between departments- 
  • Prepare and submit expense reports
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information; high degree of discretion and professional acumen
  • Work closely with in-house counsels in the Legal team and other internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain case files and calendars and coordinate workflows, status updates, and case organization.  
  • Providing general administrative support to the legal team
  • Conduct research and help to analyze and improve internal legal procedures, tools, and practices to improve efficiency. 
  • Contract management
  • Work directly with outside counsel to provide support and coordination for legal matters, including coordination of internal legal budget requests, approval processes.  
  • Work seamlessly and collaboratively within the legal team and as a legal business partner to multiple internal business stakeholders.
  • Perform administrative duties, including, but not limited to, coordinating/scheduling meetings, setting agendas and sending out documents to attendees.
  • Various administrative tasks as assigned. 
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of legal assistant/ paralegal experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Administrative assistant experience
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to effectively relay complex information in a concise format.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and independently, excellent time management, project management, prioritize workflow, meet demanding deadlines, and manage multi-faceted projects. Problem solving ability.
  • Proven track record of learning quickly, taking initiative, working proactively, being resourceful, and taking on additional responsibility.
  • Excellent command of the English language (oral and written) is required. Proficiency in Dutch is a plus. Knowledge of German and/or French regarded as premium.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology, methodologies and practices.
  • Paralegal certification, preferred but not required. Knowledge of legal terminology, methodologies and practices.
  • HBO Degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
