Lucid IT Architecture team is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Enterprise Technical Architect.

The Enterprise Technical Architect is responsible for driving architecture and design across Lucid systems, Enterprise development lifecycle process that translates business requirements into functioning software systems, services, and solutions aligned to IT objectives. This role will require a strong knowledge of application development, system integrations and infrastructure as this role is an "enterprise technical architect" crafting technical solutions to complex business needs.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Architecture & Infrastructure, the successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge and hands-on technical skills, strong leadership, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a proven ability to present and discuss technical, functional, and managerial information clearly and concisely to executive management.

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
·       California (Bay Area) - $192,000 - $275,000

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the functional teams to leverage standards, re-usable components, and design patterns and propose system solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Assess, design, and deliver on architecture that supports high availability and scalability.
  • Partners with solution/technical architects to deliver technology architecture artifacts needed for the end-to-end architecture and solution architecture approach.
  • Supervise and provide guidance/mentorship to Application Architects.
  • Proficiency as programmer or engineer to lead the build-out of experiences across web properties, mobile, desktop platforms, and other IoT technologies.
  • Working efficiently and demonstrating a bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Driving innovation and high standards, balanced with business needs and customer expectations.
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related discipline, or equivalent professional work experience.
  • 10+ years of overall IT experience, preferably including multiple disciplines (e.g. application development, business analysis, infrastructure/operations)
  • 3+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect in Auto Industry
  • Experience with APIs (Tibco), identity and access management, Cloud technologies (SAP, Salesforce, AWS, etc.), Middleware/ESB/ETL tools (Tibco, Kafka), and mobile/web application development stacks.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related discipline.
  • Mastery of SOA architecture and enterprise services implementation.
  • Scaled Agile Framework architect experience.
  • Experience architecting and delivering large-scale business technology transformation.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on technical skills, with strong leadership, development management, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with IT, various vendors, and business teams to develop solutions that meet technology standards and business needs.
  • Demonstrated success as a Solution Architect on both large and small initiatives.
