Lucid Motors is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Enterprise Sales Manager Europe to join our dynamic team. 
The role of the European Enterprise Sales Manager is crucial to lead an energetic team to engage directly with prospective businesses, financial institutions, and data providers interested in Lucid Motors vehicles. In close cooperation with the local Sales teams - Dedicated B2B Sales Managers per market and Sales Advisors in the Lucid Studio’s, you inspire customers on the benefits of electric drivetrains, demonstrate the advantages of our vehicles, and personalize the experience to each customer. 
You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive Lucid Motors' business growth across all B2B and B2B2C (Fleet, Rental, Leasing companies, (New) Mobility suppliers, Key Accounts etc ) in Europe. Your mission will be to foster strong relationships with industry stakeholders, corporate clients, and fleet operators to build rapid growth in presence of Lucid Motors' cutting-edge electric vehicles and associated services.
The European Enterprise Sales Manager reports directly to the Director Sales. The B2B Sales Managers in the markets – currently Germany, Switzerland, Benelux and Nordics – have a dotted line to the European Enterprise Sales Manager.
The ideal candidate will thrive in ambiguous situations and demonstrate flexibility in the face of shifting priorities in a fast-paced startup environment. The ability to think big and focus on scalable, measurable processes which drive immediate results to help establish and support a strong learning culture are critical. Up to 50% of travel could be required at times based on business needs.  
 
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and engage with high-profile key accounts, enterprise clients, and fleet operators to expand Lucid Motors' presence in the European market. Develop and implement innovative strategies to penetrate new markets and establish Lucid Motors as a preferred EV brand among top corporate customers.
Not only to influence corporate customers but also influence financial institutions and data providers to activate the very best solutions to each market or region. We prioritize a world-class customer experience and our teams play a key role in building the Lucid Motors brand through their delivery of that unparalleled experience for our customers.
 
 
Sales Strategy:
The European Enterprise Sales Manager role:
- combines sales and European-wide program strategy development, requiring a high degree of market and industry experience. Knowledge of managing fast-paced local and remote teams through industry-standard CRM and communications tools is essential- develops and executes comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the unique needs and requirements of enterprise clients. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product offerings, pricing, and after-sales support to ensure a competitive advantage.
 
Relationship Management
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at all (potential) customers and stakeholders. Become a trusted advisor by understanding their business objectives, challenges, and aligning Lucid Motors' solutions to address their specific requirements.
 
Negotiation and Closing: 
Lead negotiations with prospective clients, focusing on mutual value creation and long-term partnerships. Drive sales opportunities through the entire sales cycle and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
 
Market Analysis: 
Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and enhance Lucid Motors' market positioning. Provide regular reports and insights to the management team.
 
Customer Experience: 
Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process and beyond. 
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with all Sales functions in the European HQ and in the markets, with Corporate HQ in the US, but also with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer journey and effective communication of product updates and launches.

The Role:

  • Manage the European Enterprise Sales Operations, KPI’s and OKR’s
  • Develop sales programs to provide suitable finance solutions for retail and enterprise sales. In close cooperation with local sales and B2B teams and Lucid Financial Services colleagues
  • Ensure the best possible leasing and finance solutions are accessible to all enterprise customers
  • Manage and maintain specific SMR and data sets with European wide and local suppliers
  • Work with training teams to keep the sales associates up to date with the latest company and product information.
  • Drive excellence locally and within markets as the team’s skills develop to support local markets
  • Help with a wide array of business development to grow the sales teams reach into key European markets
  • Develop the data, tools, and strategies required to deliver the requested targets across all markets
  • Interact and work with the senior management team to report on and deliver weekly/monthly/quarterly results
  • Play a vital role in this senior position as a brand leader to the headquarters sales team
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus
  • In-depth understanding of the automotive market, including key players, customer segments, and regulatory environment. 
  • Understanding of international sales and regional nuances that are critical to delivering a luxury experience in every market Lucid operates 
  • 5-10 years proven track record of success in B2B sales, key account management, or enterprise sales in the automotive industry, preferably within electric vehicles or premium automotive brands
  • Specific automotive experience working with international leasing companies, data providers, and the requirements for launching new vehicles with these organizations
  • Experienced in managing sales teams (direct and indirect) within a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with high-profile clients.
  • Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset and the ability to identify growth opportunities and overcome challenges.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Understanding of sales KPI’s and OKR’s
  • Proficiency in CRM management, preferably in Sales Force
  • Fluent in English with additional European languages being of benefit
  • Strong interpersonal, communications, and facilitation skills, both written and verbal
