Overview:
Inari's business model requires high quality data collection of highly variable data from a wide assortment of sources. Through data and metadata analysis, the Enterprise Data Quality Intern will help Inari identify and capture roughly prioritized opportunities to improve the quality of the data in our data systems. The Enterprise Data Quality Intern will also assist the Enterprise Data Manager in working with other teams to determine the scope of data quality improvements desired and assist them as needed to achieve their data quality goals. At the end of the internship, the Enterprise Data Quality Intern will prepare and present their findings and results at Inari's Data Quality Initiative Tech Talks.
What You'll Do:
- Learn about Inari's business goals and data landscape
- Work with the Enterprise Data Manager to identify and prioritize data analysis targets
- Build and publish reports as Jupyter notebooks using Python or R
- Present your findings and their impact to the business in a Tech Talk at the end of summer
You Bring:
- A working background of genomics, phenomics, and/or agronomy
- Experience with Python and/or R for data analysis
- Ability to work independently
Desired experience of:
- Experience with lab assay data
- Experience with image processing and/or geospatial data analysis
- Experience with data and computing in the cloud, especially AWS
- Experience publishing Jupyter notebooks with data analysis results
