Archer is an aerospace company building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft focused on improving mobility in cities. The company's mission is to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. Archer is designing, manufacturing, and operating a fully electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150mph while producing minimal noise. Archer's team is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all employee event planning and execution – from monthly programming to company-wide All-Hands, Family Day, our summer celebration, and holiday party.
  • Manage event logistics end-to-end, including budgets, contracts, insurance, permitting, vendors, and venues.
  • Own the employee swag program, including sourcing, design collaboration, and distribution.
  • Drive community engagement through partnerships with local schools, clubs, and organizations; coordinate student visits; and support recruiting initiatives that represent Archer in the community.
  • Lead and facilitate new hire onboarding orientations, ensuring a seamless introduction to Archer. 
  • Support cross-functional People Team initiatives and collaborate with teams across the company to strengthen culture and employee engagement, including engagement surveys.
  • Oversee invoicing and purchase order processes for the department, maintaining budget visibility and vendor accountability.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in employee events, engagement programs, internal communications, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage complex logistics, vendors, and budgets.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal and external partners.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

Nice to Have

  • Background in a high-growth startup, tech, aerospace, or innovation-driven industry.
  • Experience with tools like Canva, Slack, SAP, or event management software.
  • Passion for building inclusive and accessible programs that reach all employees.

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $88320 - $110400. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
