What you'll do
Join an established R&D team with expertise in control systems, software development, numerical modelling, and data science/optimisationDesign, develop and maintain software for various R&D projects related to electrification of heatDesign software for both desktop and custom embedded devicesWork alongside Control Engineers to implement their designs of novel electrification of heat related productsCommunicate software-related matters to a multidisciplinary teamDesign and implement best practices related to software design and developmentWhat you'll need
A degree in Computer Science, or any Engineering discipline. We also welcome applicants with significant working experienceProven experience with embedded systemsWorking knowledge of Python, particularly for embedded linux systemsAn understanding of linux system programmingExperience working with microcontrollers, such as Raspberry Pi, Arduino, STM32, PICExperience with one or more compiled languages, such as C or C++Competency in test-driven developmentWorking knowledge of container technologies, such as Docker and KubernetesSome experience with guiding colleagues in best practices for software developmentIt’d be great if you had
