The Sales Director Europe is the lead sales executive for Lucid in the European region. Responsible for both our Europe headquarters sales functions and our in-country wholly owned retail operations, the Director of Sales will take end-to-end responsibility for achieving our ambitious growth targets while creating and delivering an outstanding purchase experience for our customers. The successful applicant will lead sales activity in all four countries in which we currently operate, plus lead our sales and retail expansion into new European markets.

The Role

  • Build and lead a team of outstanding sales professionals at Lucid’s regional HQ and at our retail locations, and ensure continuous learning of all team members
  • Set, deploy and achieve sales, revenue and contribution targets in support of the achievement of Lucid’s 5-year business plan
  • Design and deploy standards and processes for an outstanding customer sales and delivery experience, while working closely with our after sales, marketing and financial services colleagues to ensure the customer receives a seamless overall Lucid experience
  • Design and implement programmes in support of the achievement of sales targets, including corporate and enterprise sales programmes, used car programmes and relevant business partnerships
  • Work closely with Lucid’s Retail Development teams in laying out Lucid’s multi-year country expansion and retail locations roadmap
  • Requirements:

  • Excellent track record of achieving sales targets
  • 10+ years in international automotive sales with a mix of HQ/NSC and direct retail leadership experience
  • Educated to degree level
  • Excellent English language communication, presentation and writing ability
  • Numerically and analytically capable
  • Human enough for the team to be want to be led by you, yet strategic and decisive enough to rapidly grow and scale the business in support of our business plan targets.
  • Willing and able to frequently travel to European markets, and occasionally to the United States
  • Preferred:
  • Premium or luxury automotive sales experience
