About This Role:
The Director of Turbine Power Operations will lead a team of various technical associates and oversee the successful operation of turbines for data center projects.
A Day in the Life:
Lead team to efficiently operate turbine power facilities
Provide expert guidance on all turbine operations
Evaluate real time commercial situations on when to most effectively operate
Monitors and inspects all assigned equipment, determines operating condition
Assists in plant start-ups, shut-downs, and normal and emergency plant operations as required
Isolates equipment and insures safe work conditions for maintenance activities in accordance with the safety clearance procedure
Maintains neat, accurate logs and records from routine inspections of operating equipment
Collaborate in the solution of problems and provide information to benefit the assigned project
Manage all related expenses to turbine operations
Interact with varying levels of data center personnel
Reporting on operational status
You Will Thrive In This Role If:
10+ years of experience in turbine, facility/plant engineering and maintenance supervision, strongly preferred.
10+ years of direct managerial experience and interpersonal skills, strongly preferred.
Consistent track record of excellent internal and external customer service.
Must be technically minded, process driven, and have a thorough understanding of all scopes/trades involved in commercial construction projects.
Must be experienced in managing all personnel on site including other Subcontractors.
Ability to read, interpret, and follow schematics/engineering prints/product plans
Basic computer and math skills
Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours or more daily
Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back
Must be detail oriented
Must be a team player willing to take on additional roles as needed
Have a good attitude and willingness to learn

Compensation Range:
Compensation will be paid in the range of $180,000 -$220,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal pay and alignment with market data
