The Director of Manufacturing, Middle East is Lucid Motor’s prime lead for vehicle and battery manufacturing in the region. This position will lead the team through various strategic stages of business start-up and growth over the next several years, with major timing milestones comprised of volume, quality, and cost. This is a venture that will significantly expand the regional competencies of vehicle assembly, contributing to economic growth and diversity.

Factory ReadinessEnsure the ‘voice of the Plant’ is considered during factory design, construction and readiness activities. Play an active role in Launch activities including the installation and prove-out of equipment, tooling, and parts
People PlanDevelop a people staffing plan aligned to manufacturing capabilities and key milestone timingLeverage Operational Excellence standards for lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
CBU (Complete Build Unit) capabilitiesDevelop a multi-year roadmap to strategically ramp up towards full CBU assembly and volumePlay a proactive role in future product design to ensure the Plant’s ability to consistently achieve key KPI’s once in series production
