About the Role
Our Director, Global GTM (Go-to-Market) Enablement position will take our journey of enablement to the next level, setting the team up for success at a global scale. The role includes creating and deploying programs as well as initiatives that enable our global GTM teams to execute more effectively. Our product suite and our geographic footprint are much more complex than even one year ago, and the enablement team will need to evolve quickly to keep up. This role offers a unique opportunity to take an already high-performing group of ICs and scale.
Your Impact
Develop a world-class global GTM Enablement department and sets the tone and vision for the future of training and enablement at Aurora. In the future, this role will likely encompass all teams at Aurora even beyond GTM
Coordinate directly with senior management to establish the Enablement team’s directives, and be accountable for actions that impact multiple departments and budgets
Solve complex organizational challenges with elegant enablement solutions, and participate directly in creating and prioritizing high-level organizational prioritization
Programmatic design of new and existing programs including annual go-to-market kick-off
Directs the activities of the Enablement team to develop new methods and solve complex matters
Develop a clear, concise KPI framework for evaluating the success of the Enablement team’s efforts
Own the entire training and enablement lifecycle for Aurorans from Day 1 through their entire career’s worth of learnings at the company
Prepare and create valuable content alongside subject matter experts for programs including presentations, videos, talk tracks, etc.
Deliver training as well as procure and manage external training to boost GTM productivity alongside best-in-class onboarding
Evolve our Enablement function from US-only to truly global and support mission-critical international expansion
Masters Aurora’s sales and customer success processes to continuously optimize existing approaches and shorten onboarding times on a fast-growing team
Recommend technology to promote efficient delivery and communication
Play a critical role on the XLT team and translate company priorities directly into enablement work streams
Demonstrably up-level the amount of solar industry knowledge within the company
What You Bring
7+ years experience in a technical enablement function, preferably within a B2B SaaS organization
3 + years in a management role, with experience building team culture and strategy from the ground up
Deep knowledge of sales enablement
A sense of urgency and bias for action
Strong and dynamic communication skills
Comprehension of what it means to be a seller across various segments and regions
Passion for developing people
Deep experience working with Product Marketing
Nice to Haves
Solar or renewables experience
International experience
Both startup experience and publicly traded company experience
