<ul>
<li>Design and implement Brake components from concept to production</li>
<li>Meet program timing & budget constraints whilst achieving vehicle dynamic, crash, aero, NVH and chassis attribute targets with focus on Brake system.</li>
<li>Define validation procedures to ensure only optimized, integrated and robust designs are released</li>
<li>Manage designed parts in the virtual environment and support virtual build and release activities</li>
<li>Manage suppliers to deliver component designs on time and to specification.</li>
<li>Create and track DVP&R, DFMEA, GD&T, Functional Safety, statement of requirements (SOR) and component technical specifications (CTS) for Brake components.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or equivalent</li>
<li>2-3 years of experience at a major tier one developing or at an OEM releasing Brakes Components</li>
<li>Must be familiar with DFMEA/DVPR usage and review of these documents</li>
<li>Catia (V6 preferred)</li>
<li>Ability to understand Engineering direction and provide design concepts accordingly</li>
<li>Collaborate with larger teams of peer designers, engineers, functional teams</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, including written and verbal</li>
<li>Intense technical curiosity, High energy and proactive attitude towards problems and challenges</li>
