What You Will Be Doing

This role will be part of sales strategy and analytics team with in the larger sales operation department

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

• Key focus of this role would be to support sales planning and analytics initiatives and projects in addition to supporting the larger sales ops team work.
• One of the key responsibility of Sales strategy team is to analyze and monitor KPIs for proactive business review and presents results to senior Management. The Data analyst would actively support business analysis and KPIs review .
• Higher level understanding of sales cycle and methodology and business strategy and analysis would be very useful.

Requirements

• • Identify, develop, and deliver improvements on data performance, data quality and data pipelines.
  • Complete data analysis requests. This could require modifying an existing Tableau dashboard, creating a new dashboard, or simply running an ad hoc report. 
  • Update market research data and support business users to find the data they need.
  • Build PowerPoint slides to visualize data for quarterly leading meetings.
  • Plan out the data architecture for making new data available for business users and then coordinate with the data engineering team to build an ETL process.
  • Lead a data project tailored to your interests and the company's needs.

• Skills and Qualifications Required

  • Ability to communicate well with business users
  • Knowledge and experience with data analytics and data engineering
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across several cross-functional teams and varying timelines
  • Business acumen to be able to prioritize effectively

• Technology Tools / Competencies Utilized in Position

  • Tableau for data visualization and analysis
  • SQL for data engineering
  • Excel for various applications
  • PowerPoint for presenting analysis
  • Outlook and Slack for communications
  • Jira for project management
  • (preferred) Python for clustering and other advanced analytics
