About the company:

Arable is an agritech company that provides crop intelligence and water stewardship solutions to growers, agricultural enterprises, and sustainability-focused organizations. The company develops in-field sensing hardware, agronomic modeling software, and intuitive mobile and web applications that enable farmers to monitor real-time rainfall, crop water use, and irrigation data, allowing them to irrigate based on actual crop need rather than guesswork. Arable's technology stack includes the Mark 3 sensor device, soil moisture probes, and a developer API, all designed to be easy to install and use at scale across diverse agricultural environments. Arable's mission centers on advancing water security and helping enterprises meet ambitious sustainability goals by connecting them directly with farmers through simple, scalable tools. The company works with major partners including Google and Amazon to promote water conservation in agriculture, and its solutions are deployed in regions such as the Mississippi Delta and areas reliant on critical aquifers like the Kankakee. Arable quantifies water savings at the watershed level, providing enterprises with the reporting and data needed to demonstrate measurable environmental impact. What distinguishes Arable is its dual focus on farmer productivity and enterprise-level water stewardship, bridging the gap between on-farm decision-making and corporate sustainability commitments. The company's award-winning technology has been recognized by organizations ranging from the World Food Programme to leading agribusiness players such as Netafim and Nuveen Natural Capital, underscoring its relevance across both humanitarian and commercial agricultural contexts.

Location Requirement

Candidates must be based in or near Riverside County or the San Bernardino/Victorville corridor and able to travel regularly throughout the Southern California territory, including Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties. Travel is required for customer visits, installations, training, troubleshooting, and field support, with periodic travel to Lodi.

Local familiarity with Southern California agriculture, irrigation practices, water-management challenges, and the region’s diverse cropping systems is strongly preferred.

What We Are Looking For

Arable is seeking a Customer Success Manager to support growers and agricultural partners throughout Southern California.

This role is responsible for the overall customer experience—from initial implementation and field installation through training, ongoing support, product adoption, and long-term relationship management. You will work closely with customers to understand their operations, help them get meaningful value from Arable’s technology, and ensure they have a knowledgeable and responsive partner throughout the relationship.

The ideal candidate combines practical agricultural knowledge, customer success experience, technical aptitude, and strong relationship-building skills. You should be comfortable working in the field, discussing irrigation and crop-management practices, and communicating confidently with growers, farm managers, consultants, and project partners.

What We Do

At Arable, our mission is to connect the world’s farms to optimize the global food system.

As agriculture faces the dual challenge of feeding a growing population while conserving natural resources, we provide the data and insights that help farmers use water more efficiently and make better-informed crop-management decisions.

By digitizing the analog world, we empower producers to improve productivity, protect water resources, and strengthen resilience across their operations.

Examples of Our Work

  • Helping growers improve irrigation decisions through field-level data and insights.

  • Supporting agricultural and technology partners in meeting sustainability and climate-resilience goals.

  • Providing customers with information that improves operational decision-making, reduces resource waste, and supports crop performance.

Your Role

As a Customer Success Manager, you will be a key member of Arable’s Customer Success team and a primary point of contact for growers and project partners throughout the region.

You will manage the customer relationship across the full lifecycle, including implementation, onboarding, training, field support, ongoing adoption, and issue resolution. You will also help customers interpret Arable’s data and understand how it can support better irrigation, crop-management, and operational decisions.

Many of the projects you support may involve multiple stakeholders, including growers, farm managers, consultants, irrigation specialists, commercial partners, and other organizations. You will need to build credibility across these groups, communicate clearly, and serve as a dependable resource who can help move projects forward.

This is a hands-on, field-oriented role that combines customer success, agricultural expertise, technical support, and relationship management.

What We Offer

Join a passionate, mission-driven team working at the intersection of agriculture, climate, water, and technology.

  • Competitive base salary with performance incentives

  • Excellent health, dental, and vision coverage

  • 401(k) with company match

  • Flexible paid time off and company holidays

  • Career-development and professional-growth opportunities

  • A chance to make a meaningful impact on the sustainability, water efficiency, and productivity of agriculture

You’re a Great Fit If You Have:

  • Strong familiarity with agriculture and the ability to communicate knowledgeably about irrigation and crop-management practices.
