Manager Inventory and Cost Accounting

What You Will Be Doing

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

• Performs monthly inventory accrual, and inventory Cut off Analysis.
• Performs various general accounting activities, including but not limited to journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned areas.
• Review and validate transactions posted to other cost accounts in a timely manner.
• Prepare flux analysis for inventory, accrued liabilities, cost of sales, and other assigned general ledger accounts.
• Perform quarterly inventory cycle count and year-end physical inventory.
• Performs quarterly E&O analysis and Warranty calculation.
• Set up cost standards for materials in NetSuite.
• Analyze production costs and variances and make recommendations.
• Oversee and prepare Inventory Reserve requirements.
• Business partner with Operations and Supply Chain to develop KPIs and transparencies.
• Identify and drive process improvements.
• Perform product profit margin analysis by product family etc.
• Oversee cycle count and annual physical inventory. 
• Participation in ERP enhancement and acquisition / new product integration projects. 
• Ad hoc requests and support.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, ability to present financial information in a meaningful understandable way.
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently and collaboratively and strong organizational skills are essential.
• Detail-oriented, ability to prioritize duties within a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and related tools. 
• Ability to work effectively with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities.
• Ability to accommodate schedule to work off hours to support international discussions, close operations, and project efforts.
